Secession and the Power of the Sword 2015

by Russell D. Longcore, Owner and Editor of DumpDC, president of Abigail Morgan Austin Publishing Company

(Editor’s Note: I wrote this article in February 2010 for the first time. It was WAY ahead of its time then. But we are now five years down the road toward the collapse of the Washington power structure and rogue government. So this updated article is a bit of new perspective along with some of the original article.)

Few people, even patriots…truly understand how close America is to an economic collapse. And when it comes…not IF it comes…every person will be affected in some way. A tiny minority will be prepared, and everyone else will suffer…many will die and die ugly.

I see my friends and fellow travelers in the Liberty movements and the Secession movements vigorously promoting State Secession. But there seems to be an elephant in the room at every gathering…an elephant that few are willing to acknowledge or talk about.

The elephant in the room is military preparedness for a state on the brink of secession, or a newly seceded state/nation. I have heard some of the leaders in state nationalist movements shy away from talking about militias and military preparedness. I have heard speeches where those leaders distance themselves from any notion that the secessionists might have to take up arms and fight. And I certainly understand the sense of self-preservation that motivates those leaders. If the DC regime labels you a “domestic terrorist” or an “enemy of the state,” your life can be drastically altered or ended. And when the label “terrorist” has no real meaning, and can mean anything that DC wants it to mean, it’s best to stay off their drone radar screens.

But at some point, the militia MUST be discussed. And at some point, the militia MUST be created and military preparedness MUST be addressed.

My friends at the website Western Rifle Shooters Association talk about preparedness all the time. But is their talk getting down to the real nitty gritty? I believe it is. I believe that the leaders there are quietly preparing the militia leaders that will be needed when the shyt hits the fan.

There is an absolute requirement of a seceding state to wield the Power of the Sword.

The Power of the Sword I speak of here is the State Militia. A seceding state MUST FIRST establish its own military, and the best form of a military for a new nation is a citizen militia.¹

Over the past 20-30 years, the only stories you might have seen in the media about militias were slanted toward gun-toting, camo-wearing crazies who preach white power, or overthrow of Washington, or some other nutty philosophy. But you will be hard pressed to find a serious treatment of the function of a state militia anywhere in the media. So, the very word “militia” has been tainted and associated with kooks. Believe me, that was their very intent.

Anyone who believes in big government cannot abide the idea that each state should have a “well-regulated militia.” The two entities…big government and state sovereignty exhibited through military resistance…are forever at enmity with each other. Brute force wins every time, and big government is the personification of brute force.

The militia of today will not look like the standing armies of the nations of the world. They will be guerrilla fighters. Look at what the Afghans did to the American armies. Look at what the non-state ISIS fighters are doing all over the Arab world. Look at what the Chechens have done to Russia over the past 30 years. Look at what the Irish Republican Army did to the British occupiers in Ireland. 4th Generation Warfare has made standing armies anachronistic. Tanks won’t win a secession firefight, but IEDs probably will.

The Second Amendment of the US Constitution was supposed to guarantee the existence of state militias. Instead, Washington has inundated Americans with the very laws and regulations that violated the Amendment and purposely infringe upon the right to keep and bear arms. But Washington has always been much less concerned with citizens’ rights to carry concealed weapons than they are committed to stripping the states of their militias. It’s simply that they pulled a Harry Houdini sleight-of-hand ploy. They diverted the attention of the masses over weapons bans, assault rifle restrictions and concealed carry laws…and all the while, militias disappeared in all 50 states.

And as I said, the secessionists are deathly afraid of the topic of militias as armed resistance. Serious, substantive discussion about the re-formation and revitalization of the state militia is off-limits in most circles of the secessionist movement. I have likened this fear to posting a “No Guns In Our House” sign in your front lawn. You may be committed to non-violence, but the criminals aren’t.

It is not reasonable to believe that Washington will simply benignly accept the secession of ANY state. It is not reasonable to believe that DC’s lawyers and bureaucrats will negotiate with ANY seceding state in good faith to accomplish a peaceful separation. It is not reasonable to believe that Federal courts will uphold any legal effort at secession. It is whistling past the graveyard.

By the secessionists assuming the kneeling, cowering position of non-resistance, DC already knows that talk about state secession is an example of “big hat, no cattle.” This is also the main reason that Washington is not threatened by the “Tea Party” rallies. When Washington calls the bluff of the secessionists and says “put up or shut up,” all you will hear is crickets chirping from the state secession movements.

That is, secession movements in states without well-regulated militias.

The Founders of the United States, those men who signed the Declaration of Independence, knew that by affixing their signatures to that sacred document, they had signed their own death warrants. They knew that they would be hung for treason if captured. In this present-day environment in which Washington sees a terrorist lurking in every shadow, and each terrorist perceived as a threat to Washington’s very existence, secessionist leaders in every state will have a bulls-eye on their chests.

I’ve said time and time again that the timing of secession is everything. I’ve said that the best time for secession is after the coming economic meltdown. True enough. But no matter what happens with the dollar, no matter how bad the economy gets, Washington will still have a core of Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine personnel that will obey orders. They will still own tanks and helicopter gunships and jet fighters and warships. There will be a core of law enforcement personnel in every state that are willing to enforce Federal law with deadly force.

Washington’s going to take secession efforts very personally. Remember…the Washington government is staffed with CRIMINALS that have been shaking down the states and We The People for 150 years. Even in the face of a worthless Dollar, they will not go away quietly. The wildest of the wild cards is the Dollar. If DC’s currency collapses, all bets about Washington’s ability to crush secession are off. They may be unable to fend off a challenge to their ownership of the states. But none of us knows what will happen on that day.

In the past, I have focused your attention on the secession of 1989, when the Soviet Union dissolved and the 15 republics of the USSR became sovereign nations once again. I have held hope that such a relatively non-violent separation could occur here in the United States. But that faint hope is fast ebbing in me. I fear that the criminal government class in Washington is staffed with much more desperate criminals than the ones that held together the Soviet Union.

I do not believe that there is a chance in Hell that secession from the United States of America can succeed without any seceding state FIRST revitalizing its citizen militia. Brute force only respects the resistance of an equal or superior brute force. Ladies and gentlemen, there will be blood spilled for liberty again.

If you disagree with me, I invite you to write with your arguments.

Then the future will show us which of us is right.

Secession is the Hope for Mankind. Who will be first…and wisest?

¹Vieira also wrote compellingly about militias. Find his articles at: News With Views. There are a bunch of them.

Women In The Military

Gun Control And The Well-Regulated Militia Update

December 4, 2012

By Russell D. Longcore

(Editor’s note: I wrote this back in May 2009. I’m updating it today. Apparently, sportscaster Bob Costas and other mindless state-worshippers still cannot wrap their brains around the concepts of Natural Law. Of course, they would have had to actually learn the concept in order to forget or ignore it.)

Gun control is today’s subject. The issue has regrettably popped up onto the national radar screen after Jovan Belcher, a nobody NFL player, shot and killed his girlfriend and then did the criminal courts system a favor by killing himself. (In the USA, there are about 221 homicides EACH WEEK in which a gun is used.* But the rest of those people weren’t major or minor celebrities, so they must not count.) Those who would outlaw gun ownership are undaunted and patient. They know that another celebrity shooting, school shooting or mass murder will eventually occur in the United States, and that the event will propel this issue back onto the front pages and lead stories in the news media. So, let us examine the issue of gun control in light of history and a strict interpretation of the Constitution.

For today, we will suspend the debate about whether the Constitution has any validity. Let’s just all stipulate that for this argument, it does.

The Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States says:

“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed”.

Any State with a well-regulated Militia would be capable of defending itself from Federal tyranny or foreign invasion. Over the past two hundred years, the individual States have forgotten that their security as a free State relies upon a well regulated Militia. The first two phrases in the Amendment shed light on today’s power structure in the United States. The Federal government now has standing armies, navies and an air force that far outnumbers any state militia. So, state sovereignty has been destroyed. Now states are more like counties…no sovereignty, only slave territories of a cancer-ridden, predatory Federal system. So the very opposite of the Second Amendment has become true, stated thus: “A Well-Regulated Militia, being unnecessary to the security of a Serf State, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall indeed be infringed.”

Let’s consider the definition of the word “arms”.

The Second Amendment does not define the word “arms” but leaves it open to definition and expansion in the future. “Arms” were not only firearms, but any weapon that could be used to defend one’s life or property. Why then do the anti-gun advocates only single out firearms as the focus of their desire to disarm Americans? Why not archery equipment, swords, knives, or sharpened sticks?

Next, let’s look at the word “infringe”. The Webster’s Dictionary defines “infringe” in two ways pertinent to this discussion; from the Latin “infrangere”:(1) “to break; to violate or go beyond the limits of: (2) to encroach upon.” In order to further explain the Second Amendment, the definition of the word “right” must also be considered, and is: “something due to one by law, custom or nature.” The “right” is the thing not to be infringed by government. In the Declaration of Independence, Thomas Jefferson writes of mankind being “endowed by their Creator with certain Unalienable Rights.” The definitions above speak directly to rights endowed to humans by natural law, and to the nature of man as a created being subject to God’s authority. These rights were among those enumerated as “Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.” Therefore, the Second Amendment states that the right to keep and bear arms is one that is endowed by our Creator under natural law and shall not be broken, violated or encroached upon by the Federal government. It validates the concept of personal property ownership, in this case one’s own person, and the principle of self-defense.

Read What Are Unalienable Rights? to grasp the concept of Natural Law and Unalienable Rights.

Many gun control advocates support, and have been successful in the criminalization of the ownership of certain automatic and semi-automatic weapons, the so-called “assault weapons”. They now seek to restrict the ownership of nearly all firearms by private citizens. Yet the issue of advancing technology was not an issue that the framers of the Constitution even considered worthy of mention. These were learned men, and were well aware of the technological improvements that were made in weaponry just in their lifetimes. They knew world history and knew that guns and gunpowder were relative newcomers to the art of war.

But please consider: at the time of the Revolutionary War, did not the Continental armies possess the same technology of armaments as the Redcoats? Yes.

Hadn’t the Colonial citizens owned and used firearms since the early 1600s? Yes!

Did the English soldiers have cartridges for their rifles while the Colonials had only musket and ball? No. Musket, ball and cannon were the leading technologies of the day.

Did only the King have the ability to build ships, forge cannon and cannonball? No. John Paul Jones was a privateer, which is basically a government-sponsored pirate, preying on English ships. His first wartime command was aboard the ship Providence, owned by New England businessman John Brown. The Providence bristled with cannons.

Both of the combatants in the Revolutionary War had the same technology in armaments. The Continental armies consisted of fighting citizens, taking up their rifles and pistols, forging cannon and going to war against superior numbers in the British army and navy, but not against superior weapons.

Therefore, when it came time for the framers of the Constitution to consider the Amendments, they did not even mention the possibility that the private citizen should be prevented from owning the same weapons as the military. Ladies and Gentlemen, the militias of the Colonies WERE the military!! Could it be that they considered the threat of government tyranny greater than that of citizens owning the latest, most advanced weapons? If the Continentals had the same technology in armaments as the British military, how is it that today’s politician has concluded that (a) semi-auto firearms are not necessary for a citizen to own, (b) full-auto firearms have mostly been outlawed, and that (c) firearms should be OK as long as they are used for hunting or sporting purposes? Where in HELL did this hunting and sporting idea come from?

One of the beauties of the Constitution is its simplicity. The Second Amendment is written with no ambiguity in clear, simple words. Words have meaning. For decades now, those who would subjugate our citizens with Federal and State tyranny have fought to redefine the words of the Second Amendment. They have been successful in passing unconstitutional laws that do in fact infringe upon our right to keep and bear arms. The framers understood that with freedom comes responsibility, and that the ideas and acts of men have consequences. Yet they entrusted to future generations this simple Amendment. They possessed the foreknowledge that this newly-formed government would have the same potential as governments throughout history to decline toward tyranny and totalitarianism.

Finally, you might want to take a look at Ammo: Isn’t It Obvious? which is likely the next logical step for Washington to take to disarm America.

Liberty lovers, tyranny is usually not completed in one grand sweep. There is no single foreign enemy that is going to invade America and enslave its people. It is much more effective when the tyrants enslave people a tiny bit at a time. Tyrants are patient, and the people are usually too busy living their lives to care. It’s death by a thousand little cuts. And you still end up dead.

The Right To Keep And Bear Arms is yet another great reason that secession is the ONLY solution for individual liberty and property rights in North America.

By Russell D. Longcore

Welcome to Flash Editorials for November 16, 2012. I am Russell D. Longcore, owner and editor of DumpDC. Flash Editorials is presented by w w w dot Dump D C dot com. DumpDC is the world leader in secessionist thought. We show the world that secession is the only hope for personal liberty and property rights on the planet.

Some of the stuff I’ve seen happen this week…you can’t make up. Weeellll, that’s actually not true. Fiction writers fill novels with this kind of crazy stuff all the time. You just don’t usually see these stupid human tricks play out in real life. As the Chinese saying goes…“May you live in interesting times.” Let’s go to the news.

The Nation I: This week, some resourceful folks planted a bunch of secession petitions in the WhiteHouse.org website, and people from all over the nation began electronically signing them. As of today, there are petitions filed for all 50 states, and there have been over 700,000 digital signatures filed. I wrote an article this week in which I stated that the petitions are entirely incorrect, and that this is not the way a state secedes…by begging the current administration for permission to leave the Union. A few people left comments here at DumpDC fussing at me for not being wildly in favor of the petitions. So here is my latest comment. In the public relations game, even when they are talking ugly about you, they are still talking about you. I am glad that the secession petitions raised awareness about secession here in America. I am glad that Sean Hannity interviewed TNM president Daniel Miller on Hannity’s show Tuesday night. The more that America hears the word “secession,” the more comfortable they will be with it. And because America heard about it on TV, that somehow lends credibility to the story and the concept. Secession is a long way from reality. No governor or state house in America will take up this topic in a serious manner until AFTER the economic collapse. Then they will deal with it out of self-preservation.

The Nation II: The CIA/Benghazi/Petraeus story got legs. Lots of legs. Girls all over the place. Two generals are now in trouble along with two Florida military brass groupies (who knew that generals had groupies?). Paula Broadwell, Petraeus’ principal squeeze, has been found to have classified data on her computer, although the source of the data has not yet been revealed. Most of us only know about the CIA from what THEY tell us about themselves, or what we see on fictional TV shows or movies like The Bourne Trilogy. So America in its ignorance THINKS that our intelligence community is the best in the world. But that is just public relations. Our spies seem to be bumbling idiots that can’t run an “op” (operation) right, even if it means their own skin. And when the guys at the top are the biggest security risks of all, you know that shyt rolls downhill into the organization. I don’t want to demean all the operators in the CIA. There are career guys and gals that care deeply about doing their jobs right. But don’t you forget this…Afghanistan’s poppy crop had been all but obliterated by the Taliban. Now the Afghanis supply 90% of the world’s heroin market. Who is running that op? The CIA. Why? One reason…off-budget cash cow that funds all kinds of CIA shenanigans. And the guys at the top are always political appointees who couldn’t spell “intelligence” before they got their cushy jobs. Case in point…Leon Panetta. Are you kidding? This guy never even sat on a House Intelligence committee when he was a Congressman. Then all of a sudden, he is qualified to be head of the CIA? Based on what? And now the guy is the Secretary of Defense? Based on what? The fact that he was a second lieutenant in the Army in 1964? Pulleeeze. The CIA is broken, and won’t be fixed by DC. It will be fascinating to see what trained monkey that Obama will nominate as the next CIA Director.

International I: Oil giant BP (British Petroleum) has agreed to pay the largest CRIMINAL penalty in the history of the world because of its responsibility for the Deepwater Horizon disaster in the Gulf of Mexico in 2010. BP is going to plead guilty to obstruction of justice for lying to Congress about how much oil was spewing into the Gulf waters. The amount of the fine is $4.5 Billion. Up to now, the largest corporate criminal penalty ever paid was paid by drugmaker Pfizer in the amount of $1.2 Billion. But don’t worry about BP, though. They made a net profit of $5.5 Billion….in the third quarter of this year.

Business I: I am Founder of a private, secret, members-only Twitter group. We are limiting our membership to just 20 members, 5 are already in. If you have a Twitter following larger than 10,000, my group will give you exposure to over 200,000 tweets each day FOR FREE. If you want this kind of exposure for your Tweets, contact me on Twitter @russlongcore. Follow me, then leave me a direct message. We require members to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement.

Business II: A couple weeks back, I learned about a new business concept called “Social Commerce.” We all know about Social Networking and how big it has become. The use of websites like Twitter, Facebook, Google Plus, LinkedIn, Pinterest and others has exploded in just a few short years. Remember, Facebook launched in 2004. So in eight years, it has become the giant it is now, with over 1 billion worldwide members.

“Social Commerce” is simply gaining access to the vast numbers of eyes looking at Social Networks for business purposes. Now, the traditional method of gaining that access is advertising. But advertising on social networks is not working out as well as expected. Facebook thought they were going to make a killing selling ads to business who wanted access to all those eyes. But Facebook’s stock price has gone from its IPO high of $38 to today’s price around $22.

Turns out that social network users don’t like ads any more than they do on TV. I want to see a show of hands. How many of you record TV shows…even sports events…to view later? And how many of you fast forward through the commercials? That’s what I thought. You ALL DO. So, how can a business take advantage of Social Networking?

Referrals. Networking. Word Of Mouth advertising…the most powerful and effective form of advertising in existence. And Word of Mouth advertising costs nothing. Think about this. You went to a movie you liked and you recommended it to friends. You ate a great meal at a restaurant and told your friends. That is Word Of Mouth advertising. But let me ask you this…did the theater or restaurant pay you any commission when your friends spent money there? Of Course Not!!

So how can you harness the power of Word Of Mouth advertising for your business? An even better question is…How can I start a business using Social Networking and turn in into Social Commerce?

That question leads me into tonight’s commercial message. Would you like to learn how you can make all your social networking PAY YOU! Let me introduce you to a new company named Solavei. Solavei just launched nationwide on September 21, 2012. They have created a company that will allow YOU to refer your friends and relatives and make money by doing it. You don’t have to sell anything. Simply post messages and links and let your friends family and acquaintances look for themselves. If they like what they see and make a purchase, you get paid!!

Solavei’s first Value Proposition is this: Unlimited talk, text and data on a 4G nationwide network for $49.00 per month. No Contract. No Credit Checks. No Deposits. You can bring your phone and phone number with you. And enrolling takes about 5-6 minutes online. I saved $46 a month by switching! That’s $552 a year and I’m getting more that I got with ATT.

Think about this: Cell phone service is a life-essential service that nearly every person from age 10 to age 100 has. And mobile phone users will not voluntarily give up their phone service. What would they do? Get a land line? That requires credit checks and deposits. So phone bills…like utility bills…will get paid every month even if other expenses get cut or eliminated altogether. That makes the business recession-proof.

Solavei’s business model is this: Refer people you know to Solavei. When those people sign up like you did, you will receive monthly commissions as long as those new customers remain Solavei customers. Solavei even has a plan whereby members can have their mobile phone service FOR FREE. How many people getting free phone service are going to switch to another carrier? NONE! No other phone provider can beat FREE, can they?

To learn more, go to http://www.DumpDC.com and look for this Flash Editorial article. Scroll down to the Solavei video, it’s only six minutes long. Watch it, then sign up TODAY!!

What is Solavei? from Solavei on Vimeo.

Economy I: The number of actual initial unemployment claims filed under state programs, unadjusted, totaled 466,348 in the week ending November 10th. This is a whopping increase of 104,548 over the previous week and is attributable to Hurricane Sandy hitting the Northeast. Yet when I heard a news report of this story on Fox Business this morning at 8:40 am…just ten minutes after the Labor Department released their numbers…Fox reported the cooked numbers of the “4-week moving average” of “only” 383,750 as a positive trend for the economy. You may get tired of seeing this story every week, but every week the Labor Department LIES TO AMERICA. Friends, this week’s figures increased by over 100,000 in a single WEEK! That is a hundred thousand people MORE than the usual 380,000 WEEKLY NEW CLAIMS! If any economic stories concern you, this slow-moving train wreck should bother you a lot. When is YOUR JOB going to be threatened? Do you have a Plan B just in case?

In Sports: The Atlanta Falcons lost to the Saints last Sunday so their record is now 7-1. Still pretty great. Just 3-4 years ago, the Falcons led the NFL in rushing yards gained. This year, they don’t seem to be able to move the ball on the ground. Can’t win games without a ground game. Time will tell. Other than that, nothing much to talk about in Sports this week.

Sports Part II: Anytime you get a chance to watch college football, watch the SEC games. The SEC is the number one college conference for rookie NFL players. And any SEC team can beat any other SEC team on any given Saturday. Top to bottom, the SEC is the best college football in America.

Finally, in Entertainment: Actor Channing Tatum has been named “Sexiest Man Alive 2012 ” by People Magazine. First thing I did when learning this is look at Wikipedia about the guy. I figured no way that Channing Tatum is his real name…sounds made up. My bad. It’s just a very Southern name. He’s a Mississippi boy and his daddy’s name is Glenn Tatum. But have you seen this kid? He’s mighty pretty. Hope he doesn’t get all paunchy and rotund like me later in life. I was pretty once, too. See? That’s me in my wrestling pose as a high school senior. Cute, huh?

That’s all for tonight. Thanks for watching. I am Russell D. Longcore. For all of us here at DumpDC: Good night and good luck.

Welcome to Flash Editorials for November 2, 2012. I am Russell D. Longcore, owner and editor of DumpDC. Flash Editorials is presented by http://www.DumpDC.com. DumpDC is the world leader in secessionist thought. We show the world that secession is the only hope for personal liberty and property rights on the planet.

This is the first Flash Editorials I’ve done since May. My schedule changed and now I can go back to being a smart ass on video. Let’s go to the news!

The Nation I: The Gross Incompetence and Breath-taking Negligence of Barack Hussein Obama, otherwise known as the Libya Embassy Scandal. The Obama camp bitched about Mitt Romney “politicizing” the tragedy because in the early days of the attack, Romney made negative comments about Obama’s handling. Turns out, Romney was right. But what we have now learned is that Barry is the very person who politicized the murder of four Americans in Benghazi. Various reports have verified that the CIA and State Department apparachiks were watching the embassy in real time from a drone-mounted camera in the sky above the embassy. As the event unfolded, we have learned that there were military assets within ONE HOUR of Benghazi, including a battalion of Marines, Seal Teams and all. The military REQUESTED authority to make the rescue. And get this…the ONLY PERSON who could authorize the request for our military to cross an international border to rescue the Ambassador and the others was BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA. An Admiral in the Mediterranean can’t do it. Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta can’t do it. Joint Chiefs can’t do it. Secretary of State Hilary Clinton can’t do it. Only the President. So, what did the president do? Did he leave the situation with his National Security advisor Thomas Donilon? NO!! He dropped the situation into the lap of David Axelrod, his Senior Political Advisor…and he went to bed. You see, Barack had a big fundraiser in Las Vegas the next day, and he needed to be rested. And a few hours later, Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans were brutally murdered by the Libyan gunmen. And this after Stevens had repeatedly requested more security for the Embassy and the requests were denied.

Barack Obama didn’t do anything illegal that I know of. He did not commit an impeachable offense. He just simply did not give a shit about four Americans in Libya getting murdered. Keeping his job and raising money was…and is…far more important to this tinpot tyrant than doing the right thing. And what would it have taken? A nod of his head? His signature on a form? A verbal order “GO?” But he could not be bothered. But let a storm blow up the East Coast where all those voters live, and you can see photos of Obama in the White House Situation Room making plans to rescue everybody in the East. Of course, you know that it is all bullshit. FEMA will work just like FEMA does. But all that will occur AFTER the election next Tuesday.

The Nation II: The election is next Tuesday. Don’t vote. For God’s sake, don’t vote. The voting process has been taken over entirely. Electronic voting machines are programmed regularly to miscount votes for one candidate or another. You CANNOT be certain that your vote will count for the candidate you vote for. And in a larger sense, when the people who are actually in power present you with two Presidential candidates that are nearly the same man, what does it matter which one you vote for? And think about this. Even if 100 million voters did NOT vote next week as a protest, there is NO minimum number of votes below which the election becomes illegitimate. So if a million people voted for Obama, and a million plus one voted for Romney, Romney would take office. So if your vote truly does not count…and it only gives legitimacy to an illegitimate system…if you vote, you are part of the problem, not part of the solution.

The Nation III: Hurricane Sandy was a Godsend for Barack Obama. Just before the storm hit the East Coast, the news was filled with the breaking stories about the Benghazi fiasco. It looked like Barry was going to have to eat that shit sandwich right up to election day. But Hurrah for Hurricane Sandy! Widespread devastation will help Obama look like a good guy instead of the dim-witted coward he is.

But let’s talk about Sandy for a moment or two. Hurricanes usually need warm sea water to gain strength. In late October, Weather Underground reports sea temps along the Eastern coast at less than 65 degrees. Hurricanes like sea temps above 75 degrees, and the temperature differential does make a big difference. Sandy was a big storm in the Caribbean where sea temps are still about 85 degrees. So you can see that if Sandy had come north in late August or early September, she may have been a Cat 3 hurricane when she made landfall. Sandy slowed to Tropical Storm status…because of the cool water…and made landfall at high tide in a full moon. So the water levels were spectacularly high. Some say the wall of water that came ashore was over 30 feet tall. And just like in New Orleans, Sandy flooded vast, densely populated areas with sea water, which is highly corrosive.

One of the biggest issues in Hurricane Katrina was if the wind damaged insured property first, followed by water damage from flood. It will be the same issue in the Northeast, mark my words. Insurance companies will deny hundreds of thousands of claims because of flood exclusions and then only pay small claims for a few shingles getting blown off. One of the upsides for coastal policyholders is that Sandy was not a named hurricane when she made landfall, so many policies with huge wind deductibles won’t trigger. Watch it happen and remember my words.

The final total of damages along the Eastern Seaboard will be many billions of dollars. But don’t worry. Washington has a printing press. They won’t run out of money. The insurance companies might…but not DC.

International I: Unemployment in the Eurozone rose in September to a record high of 11.6%, according to a report by the European Commission’s Eurostat agency. Spain has the highest numbers in the Eurozone, with a jobless rate of 25.8%, followed by Greece with 25.1%. On the other end of the spectrum…or perhaps I should say in the northern region of the Eurozone, Austria has a 4.4% jobless rate, and Luxembourg’s rate is 5.2%. Friends, it is only a matter of time until the Euro currency collapses…just like here in America. They can take us down, and the collapse of the Dollar will surely take down the world.

Business: Just last week, I learned about a new business concept called “Social Commerce.” We all know about Social Networking and how big it has become. The use of websites like Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, LinkedIn, Pinterest and others has exploded in just a few short years. Remember, Facebook launched in 2004. So in eight years, it has become the giant it is now, with over 1 billion worldwide members.

Social Commerce is simply gaining access to the vast numbers of eyes looking at Social Networks for business purposes. Now, the traditional method of gaining that access is advertising. But advertising on social networks is not working out as well as expected. Facebook thought they were going to make a killing selling ads to business who wanted access to all those eyes. But Facebook’s stock price has gone from its IPO high of $38 to today’s price around $21.

Simply post messages and links and let your network look for themselves.

Think about this: Cell phone service is a life-essential service that nearly every person from age 14 to age 100 has. And they will not voluntarily give up their phone service. What would they do? Get a land line? That requires credit checks and deposits. So phone bills…like utility bills…will get paid every month even if other expenses get cut or eliminated altogether. That makes a business recession-proof.

Solavei’s business model is this: Refer people you know to Solavei. When those people sign up like you did, you will receive monthly commissions as long as those new customers remain Solavei customers.

Economy I: The number of actual initial unemployment claims filed under state programs, unadjusted, totaled 342,702 in the week ending October 20th. But the Labor Department said that New Jersey and Washington DC did not submit their weekly numbers because of the storm. All day, I’ve heard the news readers only say that the national number was 9,000 less than last week. Any outrage that 342,000 people THIS WEEK file for unemployment…and that AT LEAST this amount of people PER WEEK have been filing for unemployment for THREE YEARS? Let’s see…350,000 times 24 months is 8,400,000. NEW. UNEMPLOYMENT. CLAIMS. And then the Obama Administration crows like a rooster that 114,000 jobs were created last MONTH…and that the unemployment rate is 7.8%. Let’s see…at least a million three new unemployment claims in September and 114,000 jobs created. Sure! The Obama Administration has this under control! He deserves a second term!

Sports: In the World Series, the San Francisco Giants mugged the Detroit Tigers in four straight games. Looks like the Ti-girls peaked in the playoffs because they swept the New York Yankees in four games. The Girls had no offense at all in the World Series. Cheer up, Detroit. You were in the World Series back in 1968, and then again this year. In another 44 years, you can play in the World Series again.

Sports Part II: The Atlanta Falcons have a 7-0 record in the National Football League. Oh my God! That has never happened in the history of the franchise. Team Owner Arthur Blank, billionaire former owner of Home Depot, can’t stop smiling. The team is deep in talent and healthy. They could go all the way.

Finally, in Entertainment: I watched the second installment of Atlas Shrugged last week. It’s a very well done motion picture. Beautifully shot and well directed. But the events in America in the movie closely parallel what is happening in America today. Crushing Federal regulations are forcing some businesses out of business. In the movie, the Feds order businesses to continue in business at present pricing of their goods and services, and forbid them to close. Then the Feds come to the owner of a steel company and require him to sell them steel. He refuses to sell at any price and they have him arrested and place him on trial. Meanwhile, top leaders in science and industry are disappearing. Yeah, I know how the book ends. But I’m still looking forward to the third installment of Atlas Shrugged.

That’s all for tonight. Thanks for looking us over. I am Russell D. Longcore. For all of us here at DumpDC…Good night and good luck.

Secession and Foreign Policy

September 30, 2012

By Russell D. Longcore

Watch the evening news, or your favorite cable/satellite news show, and you cannot miss stories about the foreign policy of the United States. Washington has been the single most destructive nation on the planet as it relates to having relationships with other nations. Not only does DC arbitrarily turn friends into enemies, but it causes other nations to go to war against each other.

You DO know why Washington does this, don’t you? It is not about spreading freedom and liberty far and wide. It’s not even about oil. It’s not about democracy, fighting communism, fighting Islam or supporting Israel.

It’s all about chaos.

DC is the world leader in Chaos. Washington foreign policy constantly foments disruption and instability. It does it while wearing the mask of diplomacy.

And why is it all about chaos? One reason. Keeping the US Dollar as world reserve currency. You see, at the beginning, when DC originally made a deal with the Saudis to clear all petro purchases in Dollars, the US was the only post-WWII nation with a strong economy, and the Dollar was still backed by gold and silver. There was no need for chaos since nations were glad to use our currency. But then Nixon shut the gold window in 1971, and the Dollar began its descent into Monopoly money. Now that the Dollar is fast becoming worthless, Washington must keep the world in chaos to protect its Dollar’s position as world reserve currency.

It’s a game of musical chairs, in which the guy playing the music has a gun, and when the music stops, somebody gets shot…like Saddam Hussein and Mohamar Gaddafi.

Most of the time, Washington is so breathtakingly clueless in foreign policy that it’s comical. They make me think of the old 1960s spy comedy, ”Get Smart,” starring Don Adams and Barbara Feldon. Maxwell Smart was a cross between Inspector Clouseau and James Bond.

By the way, Agents 86 and 99 worked for CONTROL, a DC-based CIA clone. Their arch nemesis was KAOS, an international organization of evil.

Here is the KAOS emblem. A vulture sitting astride the globe. Sound like any bunch of politicians you know? This emblem would be perfect on military berets for the US troops scattered around the world.

KAOS aka Washington

Fifty years later, the roles have reversed. Washington is KAOS and the rest of the world is working to wrest CONTROL away from Washington.

The very serious, very not-funny part of Washington’s foreign policy is that it usually results in death and destruction on a global scale. Want examples?

1. The entire Middle East is collapsing. The mainstream media tagged this with the cutesy name “The Arab Spring.” But the media used the wrong definition of “spring.” They meant green shoots and all that new growth rot. The REAL definition that has been demonstrated by the Muslim populations is the kind of spring used in a trigger. It stores kinetic energy indefinitely and releases it explosively. Sounds like the Middle East to me. DC has thrown its pet dictators to the wolves, the very guys who kept a lid on the region for most of the past 50 years. Those regimes primarily repressed Tribalism, which defines the region. So now that the tribes can seek their own ways, they are free to express their seething hatred of Washington (NOT America…they LOVE American culture) for the decades of ruthless violence against them by the DC puppets. DC is confused. How could those people be so ungrateful?

2. Washington is quietly introducing American troops into the African continent. And look at how many nations are in civil wars. Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Cote D’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Ethiopia, Eritrea, and Rwanda are all in shooting conflicts. From the Mediterranean to the Cape of Good Hope, Washington works to keep things off kilter.

3. Iran. This nation of over 74 million has proven to the world that it is not enriching uranium for weapons, but for medical technology. DC and Tel Aviv can’t stand it. Washington has three carrier task forces in the Persian Gulf trying their level best to provoke an attack. Curiously, the White House doesn’t recognize the overt statements made by Russia and China that any attack on Iran would be answered by those former Cold War enemies.

4. Asia. Washington has a defense treaty with Japan that dates back to the 1940s. Japan and China both claim the same islands in the South China Sea. DC does military exercises near the Chinese coast just to piss them off. DC has a treaty with Taiwan for defense. China claims Taiwan as its own, but hasn’t pushed the subject. One day it will push BOTH subjects, perhaps at the same time. Washington will have a decision to make. The Chinese have lots of Sunburn missiles that can send the American fleet to the bottom of the ocean, and the America Navy knows they have no defense for the Sunburn. Yet Washington still bluffs and blusters toward China.

5. Afghanistan, Pakistan, India (they call themselves Hindustan)…for that point, ALL the nations that have STAN in their names somewhere. All tribes with artificial national boundaries lain over them. The world’s largest tribe, the Pashtun, some 40 million of them, are spread out all through Afghanistan, Pakistan, and the other Stans. The American diplomatic corps, led by the CIA, are keeping the Stan-ian peoples against themselves and also against America. By the way…before American troops arrived in Afghanistan, the Taliban had effectively eradicated the poppy industry. Now, only ten years later, fully 90% of the EARTH’S heroin is grown in Afghanistan once again, and the world banksters launder the money.

6. Europe. Yes, even Europe. You see, the Federal Reserve and the International Monetary Fund have their headquarters just a few blocks from the White House. Flooding the earth with QE3 unlimited digital dollars destabilizes the Euro.

7. Amazingly, Washington does not appear to be presently interested in anything happening south of the Rio Grande to the tip of South America. A few hot spots exist in places such as Venezuela, but the rest of the Americas seem to be in Washington’s blind spot.

The Presidential candidates are locked in a desperate circle jerk, each trying to convince a credulous electorate that he can best lead America as it tries to lead the world. They miss the obvious truth that the world no longer wants America to lead.

Hey Washington! Want peace? Close most of the world’s embassies. Bring ALL the military troops home. Cancel most treaties. Cancel ALL foreign aid. Tell everybody you just cannot afford to be the world’s cop any more. Let the nations sort out their own problems. Presto!! Peace!!

How does all of this affect Secession?

In a newly seceded nation, formed by sensible people who were dedicated to individual liberty and property rights, a new money system would arise on a local level. The new nation would not have a national currency. At the most individual level, buyers and sellers would decide what medium of exchange they would use for their transactions. It could be gold coins, silver coins, bulk precious metals, digital money, paper currency, or some system of barter. The new nation would have money that it collected through taxation. And if the national Treasury wanted to mint and issue money, it would have to compete with all the other forms of money in the free market.

The new nation will not have a reserve currency. So it will not have the potential to commit fraud against other nations with its money. The new nation will be dedicated to doing business with the other nations of the world in a spirit of cooperation and mutual respect. And that is just like most of the nations of the world.

Think about nations like Switzerland, Iceland, Sweden, Malaysia, Brazil, Chile, Panama and Canada. For decades each has minded its own business, not invading neighbors, not fomenting chaos, but simply existed and thrived. The only times that any of these particular nations have had problems is when they have come in contact with American foreign policy.

Secession by multiple states of the USA is the only way to establish peace within and peace with other nations. Washington will never stop its chaos until the Dollar collapses, hyperinflation ensues, and the USA is no more.

May the collapse of the Dollar come quickly. I would like to see liberty in my lifetime.

Secession is the only hope for mankind to enjoy individual liberty and property rights in North America.

Flash Editorials April 21, 2012

April 21, 2012

By Russell D. Longcore

The Nation I: Twelve Secret Service agents and ten military personnel went to Colombia on an advance security detail before the President attended a meeting in Cartagena last week. They stuck to the old adage…”wheels up, rings off.” When they got there, they rounded up at least 20 hookers and did what men do with hookers. The next morning, one of the agents tried to stiff (yes, I know) his paramour and she called the cops. I don’t know what the big furor is. Men of too much power and too little morals regularly step out of line. And military personnel? Please! Ever been to the area just outside a military base? More titty bars, porn shops and massage parlors per square mile than anywhere else. I’m just thinking that they were good consumers trying to get a volume discount. It’s laughable that anyone in America cares about this while this President is taking American into the gulag as fast as he can. Perspective, folks…perspective.

The Nation II: This week, the Virginia Legislature overwhelmingly passed a bill that nullifies the National Defense Authorization Act. The governor has promised to sign the bill. You remember where Virginia is? Sharing a common border with Washington DC? This is a small glimmer of hope that the states haven’t completely caved in to DC’s plans for America. But signing a bill don’t mean shit. Let’s see what Virginia law enforcement does when some Federal goon tries to enforce the NDAA on a Virginia citizen. I hope the Virginia law allows for clapping a Fed in irons and throwing him in jail…if he didn’t get shot first.

The Nation III: George Zimmerman had a good week. One judge recused herself from his case, and in Friday’s hearing, another judge granted him bail at $150,000…of which he only has to post 10% to be free from the Greybar Hotel. In a newsclip, I saw Zim’s lawyer questioning one of the detectives in the case. He asked him if the police had any evidence who started the fight that ended in Martin’s death. “No,” the cop replied. The attorney was trying to make the case that a charge of Second Degree Murder was a politically motivated charge, not based in facts. Zim’s lawyer won. Naturally, the family of Martin was not happy.

International I: India successfully launched a missile on Thursday that can carry a nuclear warhead up to 5,000 kilometers. Why isn’t Washington having a hissy fit? Iran doesn’t have anywhere close to this technology. And India is buying oil from Iran with gold and rupees. Answer: because India has a billion people and isn’t cowed by DC. Answer 2: India also has lots of gold and is one of the BRIC nations. India doesn’t need America, except to pay for Tech Support and Customer Service.

International II: In Bahrain, the government and protesters are having constant violent clashes, and much blood is being spilled on both sides. The Formula One Grand Prix event is supposed to be held there Sunday, but race officials are talking about canceling the event. That’ll show em. Nothing worse than a spinout when a tire runs through a puddle of blood.

Business: I saw a video Friday by Gerald Celente, founder of the Trends Research Institute. He was talking about how the rich and powerful can steal billions in fraudulent scams and go scot free, yet if you or I steal a pack of gum from the 7-11 we will be face down on the pavement with a cop’s knee on our neck. And he’s right. When banks and investment houses can play fast and loose with your money, you don’t really own it. Here is Celente’s money quote: “If you don’t have your money, it’s not yours.” The only money you can count on is the money that you physically hold and can touch. Celente has liquidated all his paper investments and is 100% in gold and silver. In fact, Celente had made a purchase of gold on a future delivery contract through MF Global, and when that company went bankrupt, there went his gold purchase. He said he’s recovered about 60% of his money, but the rest is gone. And this video by Celente only backs up what I have been telling you now for months…How much of your savings and investments should you keep in stocks, bonds and mutual funds? Only that amount you are willing to completely lose. Liquidate ALL paper assets right now and get into precious metals that you can hold and touch.

That brings me to tonight’s commercial message. Quick Question: Do you know how much invested money it takes for you to earn $1,000 month in income without touching the principal? The math is easy. $1,000 a month is $12,000 a year, right? But what kind of return on investment can you expect these days? Could you get a 3% return? Maybe. But let’s use that number. You would have to have $400,000 in some investment that earned 3% a year to get yourself $1,000 a month. Next question: How many of you could live on $1,000 a month? Don’t you need $3,000…$4,000…$8,000 or more to live? And we haven’t factored in the inflation rate, which is about 3% and is going higher. Do you have $1.2 million, or $1.6 million…or $3.2 million in investments? No young families I know have that kind of money. Only a few six-figure income earners that I know have it either. And in an economic depression…which we are in NOW…putting that kind of money away is next to impossible. But there’s a business in America right now that throws off monthly income just like an annuity. It’s my energy business. Think about your utility bills. You pay your energy bills every month, and every month, your energy provider earns a little profit on your payment. Now multiply that times thousands. Folks, there is a huge amount of money in the energy business, and you could get paid just like the big monopolies. Imagine owning a business that throws off income every month on a life-essential service that every adult that lives indoors pays every month. To learn more about this unique business, and see if this business is right for you, go to: MasterpieceEnergy.com. Look to the left and click on “The Ignite Business Plan” to learn about a truly recession-proof business.

Economy I: The number of actual new unemployment claims under state programs, unadjusted, totaled 367,550 in the week ending April 14, a decrease of 22,916 from the previous week. Yet, the Labor Department reported 386,000 new jobless claims last week. I know that many of you just skip over this because this heading is always the same, showing how breathtakingly stupid the Labor Department is. But think a little deeper, friends. Labor is only one Federal department or bureaucracy. You’ve seen how the GSA acts when no one’s looking. And the Secret Service imbroglio is merely the tip of the iceberg. ALL OF THE bureaucracies are wildly wasteful, and they know that Americans won’t do ANYTHING about it.

Sports: OOPS! At a team event, the parent of one of the University of Alabama’s football players was holding the $30,000 Waterford crystal football-shaped trophy when he caught his shoe on a rug. He dropped the trophy which shattered on the floor. Team officials are looking for a way to replace the trophy. Excuse me? This is easy. The parent likely has homeowner’s insurance, which provides liability insurance. File a claim with his insurer, and call Waterford. They still remember how to make the trophy…they make one each year. Done.

Entertainment: So sorry to hear of the passing of two enormous talents in music. Levon Helm, the founder of The Band, died Thursday after a long battle with cancer. A gentle man, superb musician and a gentleman, he was still performing until recently. And Dick Clark died this week from a heart attack. Clark founded “American Bandstand,” the teen music show that started all other rock music shows. I remember in the early 60s that “Bandstand” came on ABC at noon on Saturdays. Everybody I knew tried to be home for the show on Saturdays. You might not know that Clark also created and produced the American Music Awards show that has been fantastically successful for decades. Both men made enormous contributions to American music.

US-Israel War on Iran : The Myth of Limited Warfare

April 16, 2012

by Prof. James Petras
www.GlobalResearch.ca

(Editor’s note: Read this and spread it widely. Before you begin reading, you may not realize how desperately bad this potential war will be. We have talked about how the Dollar will collapse from either (1) China’s efforts to dethrone the Dollar as world reserve currency, or (2) the Euro’s collapse which will take the Dollar with it. But I have not factored in war in the Middle East. I will now. The first wave of war that Professor Petras speaks of may collapse the world economy, but China and Russia will remain on the sidelines during initial hostilities. If it goes badly for Iran, expect them both to jump in. Perhaps the Biblical prediction of the Battle of Armageddon will come true.)

Introduction

The mounting threat of a US-Israeli military attack against Iran is based on several factors including: (1) the recent military history of both countries in the region, (2) public pronouncements by US and Israeli political leaders, (3) recent and on-going attacks on Lebanon and Syria, prominent allies of Iran, (4) armed attacks and assassinations of Iranian scientists and security officials by proxy and/or terrorist groups under US or Mossad control, (5) the failure of economic sanctions and diplomatic coercion, (6) escalating hysteria and extreme demands for Iran to end legal, civilian use-related uranium enrichment, (7) provocative military ‘exercises’ on Iran’s borders and war games designed for intimidation and a dress rehearsal for a preemptive attack, (8) powerful pro-war pressure groups in both Washington and Tel Aviv including the major Israeli political parties and the powerful AIPAC in the US, (9) and lastly the 2012 National Defense Authorization Act (Obama’s Orwellian Emergency Decree, March 16, 2012).

The US propaganda war operates along two tracks: (1) the dominant message emphasizes the proximity of war and the willingness of the US to use force and violence. This message is directed at Iran and coincides with Israeli announcements of war preparations. (2) The second track targets the ‘liberal public’ with a handful of marginal ‘knowledgeable academics’ (or State Department progressives) playing down the war threat and arguing that reasonable policy makers in Tel Aviv and Washington are aware that Iran does not possess nuclear weapons or any capacity to produce them now or in the near future. The purpose of this liberal backpedaling is to confuse and undermine the majority public opinion, which is clearly opposed to more war preparations, and to derail the burgeoning anti-war movement.

Needless to say the pronouncements of the ‘rational’ warmongers use a ‘double discourse’ based on the facile dismissal of all the historical and empirical evidence to the contrary. When the US and Israel talk of war, prepare for war and engage in pre-war provocations – they intend to go to war – just as they did against Iraq in 2003. Under present international political and military conditions an attack on Iran , initially by Israel with US support, is extremely likely, even as world economic conditions should dictate otherwise and even as the negative strategic consequences will most likely reverberate throughout the world for decades to come.

US and Israeli Military Calculations on Iran’s Capability

American and Israeli strategic policy makers do not agree on the consequences of Iran ’s retaliation against an attack. For their part, the Israeli leaders minimize Iran ’s military capacity to attack and damage the Jewish state, which is their only consideration. They count on their distance, their anti-missile shield and protection from US air and naval forces in the Gulf to cover their sneak attack. On the other hand, US military strategists know the Iranians are capable of inflicting substantial casualties on US warships, which would have to attack Iranian coastal installations in order to support or protect the Israelis.

Israel intelligence is best known for its capacity to organize the assassination of individuals around the world: Mossad has organized successful overseas terrorists acts against Palestinian, Syrian, and Lebanese leaders. On the other hand Israeli intelligence has a very poor track record with regard to its estimates of major military and political undertakings. They seriously underestimated the popular support, military strength and organizational capacity of Hezbollah during the 2006 war in Lebanon . Likewise, Israel intelligence misunderstood the strength and capacity of the Egyptian popular democratic movement as it rose up and overthrew Tel Aviv’s strategic regional ally, the Mubarak dictatorship. While Israeli leaders ‘feign paranoia’ – tossing clichés about ‘existential threats’– they are blinded by their narcissistic arrogance and racism, repeatedly underestimating the technical expertise and political sophistication of their Arab and regional Islamic foes. This is undoubtedly true in their facile dismissal of Iran ’s capacity to retaliate against a planned Israeli air assault.

The US government has now overtly committed itself to supporting an Israeli assault on Iran when it is launched. More specifically, Washington claims it will come to Israel ’s defense ‘unconditionally’ if it is “attacked”. How can Israel avoid being ‘attacked’ when its planes are raining bombs and missiles on Iranian installations, military defenses and support systems, not to mention Iranian cities, ports and strategic infrastructure? Moreover, given the Pentagon’s collaboration and coordinated intelligence systems with the Israel Defense Forces, its role in identifying targets, routes and incoming missiles, as well as integrated weapons and ordinance supply chains will be critical to an IDF attack. There is no way that the US can dissociate itself from the Jewish State’s war on Iran , once the attack has begun.

The Myths of ‘Limited War’: Geography

Washington and Tel Aviv claim and appear to believe that their planned assault on Iran will be a “limited war”, targeting limited objectives and lasting a few days or weeks – with no serious consequences.

We are told Israel ’s brilliant generals have identified all the critical nuclear research facilities, which their surgical air strikes will eliminate without horrific collateral damage to the surrounding population. Once the alleged ‘nuclear weapons’ program is destroyed, all Israelis can resume their lives in full security knowing that another ‘existential’ threat has been eliminated. The Israeli notion of a war, limited in ‘time and space’, is absurd and dangerous – and underlines the arrogance, stupidity and racism of its authors.

To approach Iran ’s nuclear facilities Israeli and US forces will confront well-equipped and defended bases, missile installations, maritime defenses and large-scale fortifications directed by the Revolutionary Guards and the Iranian Armed Forces. Moreover, the defense systems protecting the nuclear facilities are linked by civilian highways, airfields, ports, and backed by a dual purpose (civilian-military) infrastructure, which includes oil refineries and a huge network of administrative offices. To ‘knock out’ the alleged nuclear sites will require expanding the geographic scope of the war. The scientific-technological capacity of the Iranian civilian nuclear program involves a wide swath of its research facilities, including universities, laboratories, manufacturing sites, and design centers. To destroy Iran ’s civilian nuclear program would require Israel (and thus the US ) to attack much more than research facilities or laboratories hidden under a remote mountain. It would require multiple, widespread assaults on targets throughout the country, in other words, a generalized war.

Iran ’s Supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has stated that Iran will retaliate with a war of equivalence. Iran will match the breadth and scope of any attack with a corresponding counter-attack: ‘We will attack them at the same level as they attack us’. That means Iran will not confine its retaliation to merely trying to shoot down US and Israeli bombers in its airspace or launch missiles at offshore US warships in its waters but will take the war to equivalent targets in Israel and in US-occupied countries in and around the Gulf. Israel ’s ‘limited war’ will become a generalized war extending throughout the Middle East and beyond.

Israel ’s current delusional fetish about its elaborate missile defense system will be exposed as hundreds of high-powered missiles are launched from Teheran, Southern Lebanon and just beyond the Golan Heights .

The Myth of Limited War: Time Frame

Israeli military experts confidently expect to polish off their Iranian targets in a few days – some might think a mere weekend – and perhaps without the loss of even a single pilot. They expect the Jewish state will celebrate its brilliant victory in the streets of Tel Aviv and Washington. They are deluded by their own sense of superiority. Iran did not fight a brutal, decade-long war against the US-supplied Iraqi invaders and its western/Israeli military advisers, to just turn over and passively submit to a limited number of air and missile attacks by Israel . Iran is a young, educated mobilized society, which can draw on millions of reservists from across the political, ethnic, gender, religious spectrum, galvanized in support of their nation under attack. In a war to defend the homeland all internal differences disappear to confront the unprovoked Israeli-US attack threatening their entire civilization – its 5000-year culture and traditions, as well as its modern scientific advances and institutions. The first wave of US-Israeli attacks will lead to ferocious retaliation, which will not be confined to the original areas of conflict, nor will any such act of Israeli aggression end when and if Iran ’s nuclear research facilities are destroyed and some of its scientists, technicians and skilled workers are killed. The war will continue in time and extend geographically.

Multiple Points of Conflict

Just as any US-Israeli attack on Iran will involve multiple targets, the Iranian military will also have a plethora of easily accessible strategic targets. Though it is difficult to predict exactly where and how Iran will retaliate, one thing is clear: The initial US-Israeli strike will not go unanswered.

Given Israeli-US supremacy in long and medium range sea and air power, Iran will probably rely on short-range objectives. These would include the highly valued US military facilities and supply routes in adjoining terrain (Iraq, Kuwait and Afghanistan) and Israeli targets with missiles launched from Southern Lebanon and possibly Syria. If a few Iranian long-range missiles escape the Jewish State’s much vaunted ‘anti-missile dome’, Israeli population centers may pay a heavy price for their leaders’ recklessness and arrogance.

The Iranian counter-strike will lead to an escalation by US-Israeli forces, extending and deepening their air and sea war to the entire Iranian national security system – military bases, ports, communication systems, command posts and government administrative centers – many in densely populated cities. Iran will counter by launching its greatest strategic asset: a coordinated ground attack involving the Revolutionary Guards together with their allies among the Iraqi Shia troops, against US forces in Iraq . It will coordinate attacks against US facilities in Afghanistan and Pakistan with the growing nationalist-Islamic armed resistance.

The initial conflict, centered on so-called military objectives (scientific research facilities), will spread rapidly to economic targets, or what US and Israeli military strategists refer to as “dual civilian-military” targets. This would include oil fields, highways, factories, communications networks, television stations, water treatment facilities, reservoirs, power stations and administrative offices, such as the Defense Ministry and headquarters of the Republican Guard. Iran, faced with imminent destruction of its entire economy and infrastructure (which occurred in neighboring Iraq with the unprovoked US invasion of 2003), would retaliate by blocking the Straits of Hormuz and sending short range missiles in the direction of the principle oil fields and refineries of the Gulf States including Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, a mere 10 minute distance, crippling the flow of oil to Europe, Asia and the United States and plunging the world economy into deep depression.

It should not be forgotten that the Iranians are probably more aware than anyone in the region of the total devastation suffered by Iraqis after the US invasion, which plunged that nation into total chaos and devastated its advanced infrastructure and civilian administrative apparatus, not to mention the systematic obliteration of its highly educated scientific and technical elite. The waves of Mossad-sponsored assassinations of Iranian scientists, academics and engineers are just a foretaste of what the Israelis have in mind for Iran ’s outstanding scientists, intellectuals and highly skilled technical workers. Iranians should have no illusions about the Americans and Israelis who seek to thrust Iran into the brutal dark ages of Afghanistan and Iraq . They will have no more role in a devastated Iran than their counterparts had in post-Saddam Iraq .

According to US General Mathis, who commands all US forces in the Middle East, Persian Gulf and Southwest Asia, ‘an Israeli first strike would be likely to have dire consequences across the region and for the United States there’ (NY Times, 3/19/12). General Mathis “dire cost” estimate only takes account of the US military losses, likely several hundred sailors on warships within missile distance of Iranian gunners.

However the most delusional and self-serving assessment of the outcome and consequences of an Israeli air attack on Iran, emanates from top Israeli leaders, academics and intelligence experts, who claim superior intelligence, superior defenses and supreme (if also racist) insight into the ‘Iranian mind’. Typical is Israeli Defense Minister Barak who boasts that any Iranian retaliation will at worst inflict minimal casualties on the Israeli population.

The ‘Judeo-centric’ view of re-ordering the balance of power in the region, which is prevalent in leading Israeli war circles, overlooks the likelihood that war will not be decided by Israeli air strikes and anti-missile defenses. Iran ’s missiles cannot be easily contained, especially if they arrive several hundred a minute from three directions, Iran , Lebanon , Syria and possibly from Iranian submarines. Secondly, the collapse of its oil imports will devastate Israel ’s highly energy dependent economy. Thirdly, Israel ’s principle allies, especially the US and the EU, will be severely strained as they are dragged into Israel ’s war and find themselves defending the straits of Hormuz, their army garrisons in Iraq and Afghanistan , and their oil fields and military bases in the Gulf. Such a conflict could ignite the Shia majorities in Bahrain and in the strategic oil-rich provinces of Saudi Arabia . The generalized war will have a devastating effect on the price of oil and the world economy. It will provoke the fury of consumers and workers rage everywhere as factories close and powerful shocks throughout the fragile financial system result in a world depression.

Israel ’s pathological ‘superiority complex’ results in its racist leaders consistently overestimating their own intellectual, technical and military capabilities, while underestimating the knowledge, capacity and courage of their regional, Islamic (in this case Iranian) adversaries. They ignore Iran ’s proven capacity to sustain a prolonged, complex multi-front defensive war and to recover from an initial assault and develop appropriate modern weaponry to inflict severe damage on its attackers. And Iran will have the unconditional and active support of the world’s Muslim population, and perhaps the diplomatic backing of Russia and China , who will obviously view an attack on Iran as another dress rehearsal to contain their growing power.

Conclusion

War, especially an Israeli-US war against Iran is indissolubly linked to the asymmetrical US-Israeli relationship, which sidelines and censors any critical US military and political analysis. Because Israel’s Zionist power configuration in the US can now harness US military power in support of Israel’s drive for regional dominance, Israeli leaders and most of their military feel free to engage in the most outrageous military and destructive adventures, knowing full well that in the first and last instance they can rely on the US to support them with American blood and treasure. But after all of this grotesque servitude to a racist ,isolated country, who will rescue the United States ? Who will prevent the sinking of its ships in the Gulf and the death and maiming of hundreds of its sailors and thousands of its soldiers? And where will the Israelis and US Zionists be when Iraq is overrun by elite Iranian troops and their Iraqi Shia allies and a generalized uprising occurs in Afghanistan ?

The self-centered Israeli policy-makers overlook the likely collapse of the world oil supply as a result of their planned war against Iran . Do their Zionist agents in the US realize that as a result of dragging the US into Israel ’s war, that the Iranian nation will be forced to set the Persian Gulf oilfields ablaze?

How cheap has it become to ‘buy a war’ in the US ? For a mere few million dollars in campaign contributions to corrupt politicians, and through the deliberate penetration of Israel-First agents, academics and politicians into the war-making machinery of the US government, and through the moral cowardice and self-censorship of leading critics, writers and journalists who refuse to name Israel and its agents as the key decision makers in our country’s Mid East policy, we head directly toward a war far beyond any regional military conflagration and toward the collapse of the world economy and the brutal impoverishment of hundreds of millions of people North and South, East and West.

The Nation I: Thank God, Rick Santorum quit the Republican Presidential race. But give the man his due. This guy did more with less resources, less integrity and less intelligence than all the other candidates. After spending every moment trashing Romney, how is he going to turn 180° and support Romney? There is a simple answer, folks. The answer is that none of the stuff he said over the last year was true or mattered one whit. If Santorum was driven by deep convictions and unshakeable morality, he could not tell America how horrible Romney was as the Republican candidate and then smilingly throw his support to him at the convention. Santorum is a mega-hypocrite. So he’s the perfect Republican. You folks will probably get to vote for him in 2016.

The Nation II: In the ongoing George Zimmerman/Trayvon Martin story: On Tuesday, his lawyers got in front of some microphones and said that they were quitting. Seems the Zimster went into hiding and was not calling them. So they bailed. Then that night on TV, the talking heads started decrying Zimmerman’s erratic behavior. My thoughts? First, just because George wasn’t talking to THESE lawyers doesn’t mean he wasn’t talking to SOME lawyers. I’m guessing he was trying to get better representation, since he is now getting a guided tour through the Florida legal system. Remember that the New Black Panthers put a dead-or-alive bounty on Zimmerman. I’d probably disappear too.

The Nation III: Angela Corey, Florida State Attorney stepped to a press conference podium smiling widely on Wednesday night, 6:00 pm Eastern, and announced that they would “seek justice for Trayvon.” How about justice for Zimmerman? They had already issued a warrant for Zimmerman’s arrest on Second Degree Murder charges. At the time of the press conference, Corey divulged that Zimmerman already surrendered voluntarily and was in custody. Folks, if you saw this press conference, you saw a woman with her mind already made up about the outcome. By the way, the so-called “Stand Your Ground” law was written exactly for this kind of assault…the assault on Zimmerman by Martin. Martin didn’t have a mark on him. Read it yourself.

International I: Let’s talk about the Middle East for a moment. Aside from Israel, which is a rogue nation entirely undeserving of American support, let’s concentrate on the Arab world. Folks, from the western shore of the Mediterranean to the border of India, along the northern shore of Africa and surrounding the Persian Gulf, all of the peoples are some form of Islam. The conflicts, overthrows, Arab Spring, and civil wars are Sunni versus Shi’ite…the two major Islamic groups. Washington has no understanding of Islam and the tribal culture of the Middle East. So it blithely wades in to confrontation after confrontation with its imperialism goggles on, convinced that Arabs and all those other brown-skinned oily types will love democracy if they would just try it. Hey Washington! The Islamic world has no societal history like Europeans, and will not accept the government of the Great Satan America or any other infidel European nation. Sure, you can force them or bribe them for a time. But like the Afghanis, the Islamists know that you will tire of the fight or go broke and just go away. Then they will return to tribalism and carve another deep notch in the stock of their AK-47s. The notch right next to the one for the Soviet Union.

International II: Washington is not the Great Satan, though. But it is the Great Whore. There is no issue for which DC will not play both sides against the middle. In Iraq and Afghanistan, Washington wages war against the Taliban and the so-called Al Qaida group. But in Syria, DC is working with them to overthrow the Assad government. And the only reason to overthrow the Assad regime is to weaken Iran. DC could not care less about the Syrian people, and are sending vast amounts of armaments and electronics to the rebels. There is no behavior or action for which Washington is, or could be, controlled by a core belief and a conscience. The American foreign policy of the Middle East is about The Dollar, folks. DC is doing whatever it takes to keep the Dollar as reserve currency for oil payments. If DC thinks that overthrowing every Middle East government and installing its puppet will keep the Dollar as world reserve, it will do it. I just think that Iran will be the place where Washington finally gets its comeupuppance.

Business: According to ZeroHedge.com, Apple’s market capitalization is greater than all of the companies in Greece, Portugal and Spain combined. Know what you call this? A Bubble. Apple stock is trading at seventeen times earnings. I know that’s not crazy high, but normal stock trades at about a third of that. And this kind of market value is not sustainable. I predict that an awful lot of investors, private and institutional, are going to get hurt when the bubble bursts.

Watch the opening video about “Lifestyle.” Then look to the left and click on “Defining Moments” to learn about a truly recession-proof business.

Economy I: The number of actual new unemployment claims under state programs, unadjusted, totaled 381,875 in the week ending April 7th, an increase of 62,530 from the previous week. Yet, the Labor Department reported 380,000 new jobless claims last week. Whether it’s upside or downside, the government cannot tell the truth. But do not forget that over 381,000 people had their lives changed for the worse last week in America. Do not believe anything either the Republicans or Democrats are saying about this economy.

Sports Part I: Bobby Petrino, head coach for the Arkansas Razorbacks, got his ass handed to him this week by the University. Seems that Coach was riding his motorcycle and lost control, crashing on the side of a road. Didn’t kill him…didn’t really injure him much. But then the shyt started dripping onto the fan blades. Petrino had a passenger he didn’t disclose…his mistress, 25-year-old Jessica Dorrell. Where, oh where was the girl after the crash? She must have scooted. We’ve learned that Petrino handed a cherry job (pun definitely intended) in the Recruiting Department to Dorrell after over 150 other candidates applied for the job. Then the Coach failed to disclose all this stuff after the accident. Once the Athletic Director and University President learned how much Poon-hound Petrino was thinking with his little head, they fired him “with cause.” That usually means that the fired guy did something that violated his contract…in this case, likely a violation of the morals clause. His booty call cost him $18 million he won’t get paid now. The Razorbacks went 11-2 last season with a lot of starters returning this coming season. But here is the thing that I hate most. Petrino is married with four kids. He betrayed them and humiliated them. And finally in this story…we down here in Atlanta are loving the fact that Petrino got the axe. He came to the Atlanta Falcons in 2007 as a head coach and quit mid-season to run to the Arkansas job. Atlanta hates Bobby Petrino. Now Fayetteville and Little Rock do too.

Entertainment: I went to see The Hunger Games last Saturday. As an action adventure movie, it’s very well done. But then you have to think about the underlying story, which is that some of the states of the USA tried to secede, Washington defeated them and is now punishing them for their insolence and treason. The fact that the despotic State would choose 12 children to fight each other to the death is much like Washington today. The power elite, regardless of party, has no compunction whatsoever about shoving 17-year-olds and 18-year-olds into the desert to carry a rifle and get their limbs blown off. Then Hollywood makes movies like The Green Zone, Jarhead and The Hurt Locker that glorify military service. The best part of this movie is the back story, which is that this book trilogy is wildly popular with the young. That bodes very well for the future. Young people today know that are forced at the point of a gun to pay into a Social Security system that they will never get to use. They know that the national debt has been hung around their necks, not the Baby Boomers. All you have to do to get a taste of the youth disillusionment is to go to a Ron Paul rally. Doctor Paul packs football and basketball stadiums on college campuses and shares a message of solutions, not just platitudes. Go see the Hunger Games. And thank the ticket sales girl that you can see a great movie for only about ten bucks.

The Nation I: Romney won Illinois and Puerto Rico. The yawn-fest continues. And when I listened to National Public Radio on the way to work Wednesday morning, they announced that Gingrich was a “distant third.” The truth is that Newt finished behind Ron Paul in fourth place. The media blackout of Ron Paul also continues…

The Nation II: Remember the Emancipation Proclamation? Lincoln freed the slaves…in the SOUTH, which had already seceded and was a separate and sovereign nation. Well, President Barry did an Emancipation Proclamation of his own on Thursday. He flew to Oklahoma and said he would set free the Southern portion of the XL pipeline project. While he was walking around taking credit for the pipeline, he forgot to mention one thing. The only portion of the XL pipeline that requires his signature is the NORTHERN section that crosses an international border. He vetoed that portion a few months ago. Oooops.

The Nation III: Congressman Paul Ryan announced his newest new plan for reorganizing the Federal budget. His budget would spend $5.3 trillion LESS than the Obama budget over the next ten years. Both Ryan and Obama think it’s perfectly OK to spend over $3 trillion each year into the future. And at least 40% of those budgets are borrowed money. But remember that both budgets are projections and bullshit. And all politicians do these projections over ten years, when they know that the only budget they can control is the current year. Ron Paul said that if he was President he would cut a trillion dollars in spending IN THE FIRST YEAR. That is truth. Ryan is a lying piece of shyt trying to make a name for himself. But I wish him massive success because the faster Congress screws the country, the faster Washington and the dollar will collapse, and the faster secession will be able to happen here in North America.

The Nation IV: Our President/Overseer/Savior(aka POS) Obama cravenly told reporters today, “If I had a son, he would look like Trayvon Martin.” Here is yet another high-tech lynching, but this time, it will be a white guy. When asked about the shooting, Candidate Rick Santorum called it a “heinous crime.” Both of these empty suits are lawyers, and should know better. How about saving your comments until AFTER a thorough investigation has been done? Yes…a 17-year-old boy has been shot to death. But I don’t know it was murder, and neither does anybody else right now…except maybe the police. But George Zimmerman has yet to be arrested and charged with ANYTHING. Screaming crowds, talking heads and black activists do not constitute physical evidence of a crime. May the Sanford Police allow their professionalism to prevail at a time in which the media and masses have lost their minds. You might find this article about George Zimmerman a fresh breath of truth: Zimmerman’s Story

International I: I find it implausible that Iran does NOT already have nuclear weapons technology. They have had nuclear reactors for electricity since the Shah was in office. Maybe they don’t already have a nuclear weapon built. But enriching radioactive material the old way produces plutonium. But there is an alternative. The Liquid Sodium Thorium Reactor (LSTR) is a technology that goes back to the 1960s, and is entirely SAFE. There are no radioactive waste products and no plutonium. So my point is that the only reason any nation would continue to use uranium is that they WANT plutonium as a part of the process. And, are there any nations that use nuclear reactors for electricity that do not have nuclear weapons? It’s not a coincidence.

International II: Soldiers from the West African nation Mali overthrew President Amadou Toumani Toure this week. The former president’s whereabouts are not presently known. Toure came to power in 1991 when he seized power in a coup, overthrowing another guy who had staged a coup in 1968. Apparently what goes around, comes around.

International III: Portugal is next in line for a bailout. They need $12 Billion in loans to avert default. Spain is making noises about default too. And Germany is expected to be the source of the bailouts. I love this. The Euro was a terrible idea back in 1999, and Europe is getting what it deserves. Nations that give up their sovereignty in monetary policy are stupid. If the Euro fails, will any of the nations of the European Union have the good sense to issue currency backed by gold? Don’t hold your breath. I see some new fiat currency based on nothing in Europe’s future.

Shameless Plug: Have you ever dreamed of owning a home-based business? It’s a dream shared by millions of people who crave freedom from bosses. But it’s much, much more…and today I want you to concentrate on TIME FREEDOM. You can always earn more money somehow, but you cannot earn more time. Spend it foolishly and it is forever gone. Long hours on the job steal time from you and your family. Did you get married and have kids just so you could bring home a paycheck but not spend time in their lives? Do you feel guilty when you miss important events because you have to work? You can take control of your life with the RIGHT kind of home business. To learn more about my Energy business, go to: MasterpieceEnergy.com. Watch the opening video about “Lifestyle.” Then look to the left and click on “Defining Moments” to learn about a truly recession-proof business.

Business: Corporations in America are hoarding cash. The Wall Street Journal says that non-financial corporations on the S&P 500 are retaining more than $1.2 TRILLION in cash. Why? Lack of predictability in the economy, and the fecklessness of Washington DC. Also, companies are anticipating and preparing for how hard they are going to get hammered by ObamaCare. Want to revitalize the economy, DC? Slash real spending this year. Lay off government workers, shrink government departments, dissolve programs. And stop “Quantitative Easing,” which is just another way of saying printing counterfeit money.

Economy I: The number of actual new unemployment claims under state programs, unadjusted, totaled 315,636 in the week ending March 17th, down 24,441 from the week previous. Yet once again, the Labor Department reported 348,000 new jobless claims…a number higher than the real number by over 32,000!! Can someone out there explain to me why DC would over-report the number of new claims? What kind of drooling morons are on their payroll? Perhaps some of the unemployed could count better than the government employees.

Sports: Remember the nice things I said about the owner of the Indianapolis Colts, and that he had some common sense by releasing Peyton Manning? Apparently Pat Bowlen, the owner of the Denver Broncos, and Broncos executive John Elway, are suffering from altitude sickness. Not enough oxygen is getting to their brains. The Broncos bought Manning for $96 million over five years, and traded away Tim Tebow to the Jets. The rookie QB took Denver to the playoffs last year and put a lot of butts in the stadium seats. But I guess that wasn’t good enough for his rookie year. So let me get this straight. You spend a ton of money to acquire a 36-year-old player…great as he has been…that has had four neck surgeries in two years and represents the past. And then you trade away a 25-year-old spark plug that represents the future. This deal will work hard on Tim Tebow’s Christian forgiveness…and the Denver fans’ forgiveness too.

Sports II: Sean Peyton, head coach for the New Orleans Saints, has been suspended from coaching for A YEAR by the NFL for his role in the Saints’ bounty scandal that put price tags on opposing players. Somebody on the team paid cash bonuses to players that injured key players on other teams. That’s thuggery, and NFL commissioner Roger Goodell was right to suspend Peyton. Winning is not everything.

Entertainment: Comedian Gallagher is retiring from performing after 32 years of cracking wise and smashing melons with a big hammer. Here’s one from Gallagher: “Why does it say “On” and “Off” on a light switch? If it’s on you can see it’s on and if it’s off, you can’t see to read.” One more: “How does a slut feel? Whore-a-ble.” Even Rush Limbaugh would like that last one!
