This article is kind of an advertisement for knowledge and wisdom. But there is nothing you need to buy.

I started DumpDC.com in May of 2009. To date, there are over 715 articles in our Archives. Hundreds of them are written by me. But there are also hundreds written by the finest writers and thinkers in the world today about liberty. I promise you that nearly ALL you read here at DumpDC was omitted from your grade school, middle school, high school and college education. Even if you have advanced degrees in Economics and History, you didn’t learn about Liberty at college…unless you attended Hillsdale in Michigan.

So I’m encouraging you to make liberal (the proper definition) use of our Archives. If you’ll start at the very bottom, back in May 2009, you’ll actually be able to follow my evolution as a liberty thinker and writer. For example, back in 2009, I still believed in the US Constitution as the foundation of law in America. That changed over time. In 2009, I still believed that American could be fixed. That has also changed. In 2009, my subtitle said “Following the growing secessionist movement in the united States of America.” Now the word “Promoting” has supplanted the word “Following.”

The Archive is a treasure trove of articles that will substantively change your life forever. Of course, there is the possibility that you could read these articles and refuse to acknowledge the truth in them. But every article you read is like a seed planted in your mind. Seeds take time to grow. Be patient with yourself. This Archive is also like a supermarket of ideas. Take one idea down off the shelf and look at it carefully. If you’re not ready to buy it quite yet, put it back on the shelf. You may revisit that aisle another time.

When I moved from Michigan to Atlanta, Georgia in 1992, I was a rock-ribbed Republican activist, Ditto-head, NRA member, Christian, Marine Corps-loving….useful idiot. Setting aside old core beliefs and embracing new beliefs takes time. Unfortunately, you don’t have much time left before the Shyt hits the fan. Read fast, my friends.

I do all of this here at DumpDC from a heart filled with love for my fellow man. I want all of us to live in a place where individual liberty and property rights are protected. The same energy that grows your fingernails lives within me, so we are spiritual brethren despite any distance that separates us.
