(Editor’s Note: The author speaks of saving the Republic in armed resistance. But Three Percenters will comprise a large percentage of militias as secession moves forward.)
During the American Revolution, the active forces in the field against the King’s tyranny never amounted to more than 3% of the colonists. They were in turn actively supported by perhaps 10% of the population. In addition to these revolutionaries were perhaps another 20% who favored their cause but did little or nothing to support it. Another one-third of the population sided with the King (by the end of the war there were actually more Americans fighting FOR the King than there were in the field against him) and the final third took no side, blew with the wind and took what came.
Three Percenters today do not claim that we represent 3% of the American people, although we might. That theory has not yet been tested. We DO claim that we represent at least 3% of American gun owners, which is still a healthy number somewhere in the neighborhood of 3 million people. History, for good or ill, is made by determined minorities. We are one such minority. So too are the current enemies of the Founders’ Republic. What remains, then, is the test of will and skill to determine who shall shape the future of our nation.
The Three Percent today are gun owners who will not disarm, will not compromise and will no longer back up at the passage of the next gun control act. Three Percenters say quite explicitly that we will not obey any further circumscription of our traditional liberties and will defend ourselves if attacked. We intend to maintain our God-given natural rights to liberty and property, and that means most especially the right to keep and bear arms. Thus, we are committed to the restoration of the Founders’ Republic, and are willing to fight, die and, if forced by any would-be oppressor, to kill in the defense of ourselves and the Constitution that we all took an oath to uphold against enemies foreign and domestic.
We are the people that the collectivists who now control the government should leave alone if they wish to continue unfettered oxygen consumption. We are the Three Percent. Attempt to further oppress us at your peril. To put it bluntly, leave us the hell alone. Or, if you feel froggy, go ahead AND WATCH WHAT HAPPENS.
The Doctrine of the Three Percent
The Three Percent are the folks the Founders counted on to save the Republic when everyone else abandoned it.
And we will.
There will be no more free Wacos and no more free Katrinas.
For we are the Three Percent.
We will not disarm.
You cannot convince us.
You cannot intimidate us.
You can try to kill us, if you think you can.
But remember, we’ll shoot back .
We are not going away.
We are not backing up another inch.
And there are THREE MILLION OF US.
Your move, Mr. Wannabe Tyrant.
Your move.

A couple of weeks ago someone brought this to my attention: What we see America in today is God’s judgment.
I have a question: Is President Obama nothing more than an instrument in God’s hands?
Thinking about what I was told concerning the fact that Americans did not overthrow King George and we simply defended ourselves after we left England, causes me to come to the conclusion that secession should come first and then defense.

Sir we have to prepare and be ready to defend ourselves until we can separate from the US.
If you understand our history you realize that before there was secession, there was the militia, and they were already fighting skirmishes against the Red Coats. First there was fighting, then there was secession.
Here is why we will be forced to fight first.
I live in Michigan. Convincing the 2,000,000-plus voting public that leaving the dis-united States is the right thing to do is going to be very difficult. Even as the tyranny from DC continues to advance, people are just not prepared to go it alone. The mindset for State and individual liberty just isn’t there. Yet!
If the 40% gun ownership rate for the US is true and it also applies to Michigan, then there are about 3.5 million gun owners in Michigan.
If just 3% of those gun owners were to hit the field to defend against the DC oppressors, that’s a 105,000 person defense force for Michigan. That makes the corruptocrats have to double that just to attempt to suppress us.
Knowing Michigan gun owners, I suspect that before very much time passed, as a siege from DC progressed, there would eventually be a Million person defense force . Here is my reasoning:
I’m in the UAW, not a right-wing organization. Half of my friends and fellow workers are liberal, even socialist. The majority of those liberal people are gun owners. When discussing the possibility of FED-GOV confiscating their firearms, the resounding response is “Not in my lifetime!”, said with cold anger. One particular ubber-lib simply held up his hand and said “Cold,Dead”. There are limits where even what I call “street liberals” will finally stand up and say NO!
However, until the actuality of a siege by DC, and for some time after the initial attacks, these folks aren’t going to just walk away from the united States. Until we make the decision to leave, someone has to be there to put up a fight. That’s where the 3 percenters come in. I consider myself part of that 3%, but we won’t truly know about anyone until the siege begins.

It is obvious that I have things yet to learn. I have tried to make sense out of the how(s) and why(s) of this road of desruction our nation, and our world, finds itself upon. Over time, I have gotten used to seeing what the Bible has to say about such matters. That is why I can only see things with my “Christian Glasses” on. In other words, unless the creator, the Almighty God, is guiding and we are following, then man’s solutions to humanity’s problems probably won’t work – at the least, not for long.
Just so that I’m 100% transparent, I will defend myself and my neighbor, but it will have to be for a reason that I understand and believe in. So, I think we’re on the same page, as far as that goes, and I REALLY appreciate your article. It has got me to thinking in a wider perspective.
Taking the “three percenter” thought to the aspect of the moral decline our country finds itself in, as a whole: If just three percent of one percent of our population would whole-heartedly turn from their wickedness and call upon the Name of the Most High God for leadership in their lives, then we would see “CHANGE”!
I can’t take the space and time to make everything as clear as I feel I should. I’m certainly not a preacher, teacher or anything along those lines. I am just an individual that desires to make any move that I make a good one – a righteous one. I want God’s stamp of approval upon it. To do that I know I have to know Him and His ways. As I said, I’ve got a lot yet to learn.
What do you think about God being involved in the affairs of man?

As long as man (humans) hold a belief in God, God will be involved in the affairs of man.
I was about to go into my beliefs about religion and religion’s relationship with the state, but that would be inappropriate for this blog. Therefore, I will keep this short and on point. I cannot tell you what the righteous decision for you should be. No other human should influence your righteous decision. That is only between you and your God.
I can tell you what my righteous decision is. I will defend my family, myself, and my property. I will stand in defense of the neighbor who is prepared to defend himself. I will stand in defense of the neighbor who is physically incapable of participating in his own defense yet still desires to fight for his own freedom. These are free men, I stand with them. I will not stand with the parasitic neighbor who sits idly on the fence waiting to see which way the wind blows, siding with the winner after the fact. This is the willful slave, ready to serve his secular master. This is a slave by choice. I stand with no man who willingly chooses to be a slave.
